Hello and Welcome! I am so glad you are here.
My hope is that Wild Side Guides will become a series where we will dive into the natural world to unearth our inner wisdom and maybe notice somethings we haven't noticed before. Perhaps we will transform old stories, find breakthroughs, laugh, cry, feel more confident, or discover our creative voice. When we open to the perspectives of our wild side friends we learn about ourselves, and are able to shift our own consciousness to notice things we haven't noticed before.
I suggest beginning with the welcome videos and Red Thread Ceremony followed by your own inquiry and research into owl and then journal prompts and then moving to the painting videos. Each video chapter of the main project contains 2 videos-one in regular speed with narration and a written outline with video times and a second video of the original video sped up. Underneath each main video you will find a link that will take you to the next segment or you can return home to the table of contents.
You are also invited to join the Wild Side Cafe - Click here to join (which is only for wild side participants) and Building Wings Creative Studio Cafe-click here to join (which is for any member or individual interested in Building Wings Studio) on Facebook if you would like to join to share your journey and support each other. This invite will also be on your access letter. If you follow the link in the PDF it will take you to the facebook page and you can join. You can also post questions there or email me at ( russell.jennifer@live.ca).
I have posted a short welcome video below, as well as all the documents for the class. At the bottom of the page you will find a link to the next section as well as a materials list.

This a is doozey of a welcome, I could have edited it out, but this is the life I live haha. I decided to film the welcome outside when it was still slightly dark, although the camera does a good job at making it really light. I brought my dog Rocky out to be my co-host and he literally picks up deer sign so I guess that will be our guide for next Wild Side Guides, and not to be out done a deer sneaks up behind us, quite close-but I didn't catch her on camera although we did startle each other. With in the welcome I share some of my thoughts before painting owl and read you a letter that I wrote from owl to me as my own warm-up activity which is a great way to start the connection if you so choose to do one yourself. So that being said, I welcome you to Wild Side Guides: Owl .
Red Thread Ceremony
Join me in this video in starting our journey with owl with intention. There is a Chinese legend that we are all connected by a red thread at birth and that it can tangle, and stretch but it will never break. It is a reminder of our connection and that we can support each other. We are also only ever responsible for our own piece of the red thread, but can ask for help along the way. Tune into the video to hear some questions as we connect in circle to honour owl.
