Never lose your sense of wonder. This is a picture(turned digital art) of Kieran holding a battery powered tea light, he was very intrigued and curious about it. When did we lose this sense of wonder of the world? I have been doing my best to get mine back the past few years :)
Kieran melts my heart everyday, he waves hello to everyone, today he shouted hi across the yard to our neighbour, then proceeded to talk as he walked over and began pointing out ants. He has kisses for kitties, doggies and stuffed toys...occasionally one for me. He has the warmest hugs, and he gives them because he wants to. Snuggles are becoming more frequent, especially since we got a new puffy blanket on our bed.
I am looking forward to our summer together!
This weekend was a busy one for Kieran. He got to drive a tractor, saw some boats, and some airplanes at the airport, the only thing we didn't see was a train. Peter was in Toronto over the weekend and Kieran was definitely missing his Daddy. Every car that went by, each dog bark, and each wake up, he would say "daddy, daddy, daddy". Now all is right with his world, daddy is home safe and sound.
What a beautiful weekend, and what better way to spend it than outside! Some of my favourite memories from this weekend:
I am looking forward to spending the summer with Kieran!!
