Wellness to me is physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional. It is about all aspects of self care.
I do a lot of work on spirit through Reiki ( Usui and Celtic) my emotional gets some support through art journaling and Reiki. My physical wellness is lacking and is something I would like to work on a little more. In this portion of my blog I wish to share my thoughts, goals, and struggles on my wellness.
Physically, I have been feeling really tired and heavy. Heavy, not meaning overweight, but feeling like I can't get moving ( it is probably fatigue catching up with me in new mom syndrome).
I am going to start with a really small goal this week, which will probably make a big difference, of drinking more water. Water is pretty much all I drink- I may have the odd glass of milk but that is it. I certainly do not hydrate enoug though, and since I am breast feeding I should be drinking even more of it. I may even have it with lemon.
Wanted to add something more to my post:
I have used Solé Brine (using Himalayan Rock salt) in the morning, takes a little getting use to but definitely works. There are many health benefits to drinking and using this-see the link below for an in depth explanation and list of benefits.
I am going to add this back in to my day with my water goal this week and really try to pay attention to any changes I feel.
