Had a wonderful Mother's Day. The power went out in the morning so we went to Cora's uptown for breakfast, and then a walk at the trail. On Friday when we picked Kieran up from his sitter he had made me applesauce muffins (delicious) and painted me a picture using marbles (now framed on the wall), he also had practiced saying happy Mother's Day. That didn't stop him from asking me to hold them so he could run down the hill....luckily Peter grabbed him before he took off. His latest thing when we pick him up is to run full speed down the hill which is in the opposite direction from the car.
This week he refused to sleep in his bed, and only wanted to sleep on his floor. He has also decided that it is a good idea sometime through the night to tear off his pull up and either sleep naked or get dressed for the morning-which usually ends up with a wet wake up call around 3 am.
He has to wear shorts every day. Last week we were able to convince him to wear pants underneath but this week is a wrestling match to make that happen.
