Well it has been a while since a Mommy Monday post and again it has landed on a Tuesday-Oh well.
Lot's of happenings have been going on.
Last time I posted Kieran was starting at the Babysitter full time....that did not go so well. By Friday he was kicked out-poor little guy wouldn't nap and then he would cry the day away. Otherwise he didn't seem to mind being there-he wouldn't even notice me leaving.
So for the past couple weeks we have been working hard to get Kieran sleeping a bit better-and on the first night he slept from 9pm to 7am, and the second night from 7-7 and has consistently been sleeping through the night (this coming from a boy who before that woke every 3 hours). Naptimes are still a work in progress but have been getting better.
Yesterday was his first day fulltime at a different babysitter and he was upset when I left but over all she said he had a good day-knock on wood I hope it keeps up :)
Kieran also got his first taste of birthday cake!! He loved it as you can see above demolishing his Nanny's delicious homemade chocolate cake with butter icing and drizzled chocolate!!...I probably should not have worn white.
He met his Grand Nan who came down from Toronto...and if I am not mistaken I think the both stole each others heart. In the first night Her and Kieran were laughing and throwing stinky socks at each other!
Kieran has pretty much given up crawling is off at great speeds on his own 2 feet-getting into anything and everything he can.
He loves carrying anything that is like a stick-at home that includes the broom, vacuum, some plastic attachment for his mobile and a cat toy wand, long bubble wand...When I went to pick him up at the babysitter yesterday it was a foam baseball bat that he was carrying around.
He has having so much fun, I look forward each day to seeing him after w
