Here is the next video of my journal page (click here to see the first). I started by collecting some colourful leaves and using a varnish to seal them onto the page-Hopefully this will stop them from crinkly up and turning to dust over time. Then I played with India Ink, acrylic paint and a brayer, and alcohol ink.
Some of my most favourite pages come from just playing, experimenting and not being attached to the final outcome. My attachment grows and fades and grows as I work through the process. I found it hard to make the leap and actually put something down on the background. I really liked how the background had turned out from part one, but now I am really loving how part two turned out.
I hope you enjoy part 2.
