This journal page is celebrating bravery and courage. It was meant to celebrate a time in the past where I had shown courage. Instead, I choose to make about having courage now to move ahead in my dreams by using creativity.
I chose the falcon or rather the falcon chose me, to remind me to stay focused on my goals and not be afraid to dive in.
I like the way the painting turned out. However, I did mess her arms up pretty bad, but I am going to accept that and move on. I think this image is perfect for building wings as the girl in the painting is taking a leap. I may try to do a similar painting again for this blog.
What is something that you can celebrate that took bravery and courage- could be anything-skydiving, relationships, standing up for yourself, saying no or yes to something, parenting, school, health, might even be something you have struggled with for a while, or an acceptance if something you couldn't change, or a change of thinking,) ....maybe something small like walking to the bed at night instead of leaping into it incase something grabs your ankles...just me?... Oh).
Try and think of one thing for yourself and say "yeah, I am pretty awesome, it took courage to do that for me, and I am proud of myself.
