Went apple picking a couple weeks ago at Everett Family orchard. what fun we had. Kieran had so much fun taking a bite out of every apple he could see.
At one point a lady bug handed on his wagon and I put it on my finger to show him... well the lady bug promptly flew to his mouth-surprise. Once we got it away from his mouth, it spent some time tickling his nose. Luckily we got a picture before it flew away.
On a side note, Kieran absolutely loves his new babysitter, this morning he gave me a hug and then ran over to her and hugged her too and waved goodbye to me!
Well it has been a while since a Mommy Monday post and again it has landed on a Tuesday-Oh well.
Lot's of happenings have been going on.
Last time I posted Kieran was starting at the Babysitter full time....that did not go so well. By Friday he was kicked out-poor little guy wouldn't nap and then he would cry the day away. Otherwise he didn't seem to mind being there-he wouldn't even notice me leaving.
So for the past couple weeks we have been working hard to get Kieran sleeping a bit better-and on the first night he slept from 9pm to 7am, and the second night from 7-7 and has consistently been sleeping through the night (this coming from a boy who before that woke every 3 hours). Naptimes are still a work in progress but have been getting better.
Yesterday was his first day fulltime at a different babysitter and he was upset when I left but over all she said he had a good day-knock on wood I hope it keeps up :)
Kieran also got his first taste of birthday cake!! He loved it as you can see above demolishing his Nanny's delicious homemade chocolate cake with butter icing and drizzled chocolate!!...I probably should not have worn white.
He met his Grand Nan who came down from Toronto...and if I am not mistaken I think the both stole each others heart. In the first night Her and Kieran were laughing and throwing stinky socks at each other!
Kieran has pretty much given up crawling is off at great speeds on his own 2 feet-getting into anything and everything he can.
He loves carrying anything that is like a stick-at home that includes the broom, vacuum, some plastic attachment for his mobile and a cat toy wand, long bubble wand...When I went to pick him up at the babysitter yesterday it was a foam baseball bat that he was carrying around.
He has having so much fun, I look forward each day to seeing him after w
An invitation to paint, explore and embody your inner Queen-self, choose how you live your life, and become familiar with your heart’s desires.
Have you ever felt that there is another woman inside you? One who knows what she wants but is hidden? A woman of empowerment?
Do you find yourself saying “yes” more than you would like?
Have you found yourself turning down opportunities that you wish you had taken?
Through active imagination, intentional creativity and intuitive painting with acrylics you will create a portrait of the Queen of your heart. With each step we will be exploring your identity and finding new language to recreate the stories that define us and hold us back, into stories that help us to move forward. This process is just as much about working with the interior of ourselves as it is about the painting.
Join me in the palace of yourself, where you will be guided step-by-step to create, and meet face to face, the Queen of your own heart. Your Queen will connect you to the inner workings of your heart, and help you explore your own power and desires. She is wild and passionate, gentle and fierce. Where she will take you-nobody knows.
