Better late than never...
Mommy's little photographer. Monkey see monkey do! He loves it. He has taken many photos, and loves to look at them and he names who and what he sees in them, and he is always surprised by the pictures, maybe trying to figure out how we can be on two places at once.
Vet bill.... You don't want to know
New self cleaning litter box.... Meh
Kitty and boy reunited.... Priceless
Baron is back from his 6 night stay at the vet, we almost lost him on Tuesday due to a blocked bladder. But he is back and healing and him and Kieran are still best buds. All week every cat Kieran saw was Bobo. At one point he got excited because he thought a loaf of bread on top of the cupboard was Baron. Now that they are back in action Kieran is very careful around Baron's 'ouchies' a term Kieran has learned very well while I recovered from my surgery.
His new favourite game is Ring Around the Rosie... He can hardly wait to fall down. His new animal sound his caw caw... He loves it when we all join in and jump up and down while cawing and clapping our hands.... It makes me think are we going to be like the arrested development family lol check out this clip to know what I mean https://youtu.be/1TphEh0Qgv0
We had a beautiful weekend together which ended with the nicest gift of Baron coming home.
Kieran is the light at the end of my tunnel. The hardest thing this week is not being able to pick him up (Thursday I had surgery to remove my gall bladder, so it will be a hard week). I am allowed to hold him sitting down if someone lifts him to me, but that's it. And for those of you that know Kieran, one does not just simply hold him. He is a busy, busy guy, and likes to be on the move, so if you are holding him you usually have to be standing, or walking around, or he is squirming.
After my surgery I was really weepy, but fighting back the tears, and all I could think of was Kieran's new sad pouty face and that was probably the same face I was making, which made me laugh, even though it hurt. I showed Kieran my belly with the dressings on it and he always looks very concerned says "Ouchie" and compares his belly to mine, and then he pats my head and runs off. Such a sweet, caring little guy :)
Had a wonderful mothers day, I even got spoiled by having two naps-best gift ever-plus a pancake breakfast and flowers-Luckest Mom ever.
It has been a couple weeks since I have posted a Mommy Monday. Now that the nice weather is here Kieran is outside most if the time, he loves the outdoors. He is always putting his jacket and shoes on or at least trying to,and when it's time to come in, we pretty much have to wrestle his outdoor clothes off him. He is getting more and more words including bird (which for the time being only says can-we are working on the tweet), and he says assis (sit in french). At his babysitter the other little boy speaks French so Kieran is already learning both languages and making the connection between words. The other day he ran up to Peter saying papa papa, then switched to Daddy Daddy.
